Success Story: Stephanie
Stephanie’s story is one of resilience and hope. After enduring 13 years as a sex trafficking victim, she found support through Created Women, who helped her take the first steps toward rebuilding her life. With their guidance, Stephanie was able to connect with Wheels of Success (WOS), which became a critical turning point in her journey.
The situation with her old car was dire—expensive repairs were needed, and the cost of the parts exceeded the vehicle’s value. This left Stephanie in a precarious position, threatening her job, as she relied on her car to work with minors who were victims of human trafficking and are now in foster care. Stephanie’s work is both meaningful and demanding, requiring her to travel long distances to support these young girls.
Thanks to WOS, Stephanie was able to qualify for their ABC program, our social enterprise initiative which put her into a 2018 Hyundai Elantra, a low mileage, fuel-efficient vehicle. It’s a game-changer that allows her to continue her vital work and further support the young women she mentors.
