Britani’s life has changed since she received her car, thanks to Build-a-Car Sponsor Publix Supermarket Charities.

Life’s a lot simpler for the 21-year-old accounting student and MacDonald Training Center employee. “Now I don’t have to walk to take two buses to get to and from work. It’s hot and humid, and I couldn’t wear my heels and look professional.”

Reliable transportation has a huge impact on her life. Britani received her car early to start the next school session on time. She doesn’t finish until 10pm, and the last bus in that area only runs until 9:30. Without a car, Britani would have to change her school schedule, or take the long walk home after classes in the dark.
