Danna Haydar, Esq.

Danna Haydar is the owner/chief officer of two restaurants in Tampa, The C House (March 2018) and The Battery (September 2021). Prior to embarking into the hospitality industry, Danna served for 7 years as the Associate General Counsel for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Amalie Arena. During her tenure as counsel for the team, Danna handled a wide-array of legal matters, including sponsorship agreements, event license agreements, and oversight of various claims, including premises liability and intellectual property protection/enforcement.

Next on the professional/entrepreneurial path for Danna is the launch of her custom hat line, Pyper Malone (visual: structured felt fedoras and large-brim straw beach hats). The target launch date is November 2023.

Danna grew up in Toronto, Canada, but moved across the border to play softball in college. Following college, Danna accepted an offer to move to New Zealand to play softball for an Olympic-development team in Wellington. Her next move was to attend law school at The University of Florida, graduating in 2008. Danna is an avid baseball fan and a deep lover of both Napa Cab and Kentucky bourbon. Danna lives in Tampa with her husband and their three children (2, 4, and 8).
